Aloha everyone. My next class (Intro to Paranormal Investigations) at KCC is scheduled to begin in February. If you or anyone you know would like to learn about investigating the Paranormal, please consider signing up for this unique Adult Continuing Education Course at the Kapiolani Community College Campus. Here is the information:
Introduction to Paranormal Investigations - Ghost Hunting 101
This course is designed to introduce interested individuals to the world of Paranormal Investigations. Through this course, individuals will learn how to conduct a thorough and credible investigation of claimed haunted locations. Topics to be covered are Investigator protocols, theories regarding entities and hauntings, how to conduct client interviews, investigation techniques, basic equipment and their uses, and evidence analysis. An actual investigation of a claimed haunted location will be conducted towards the ending weeks of the course. This course will not make you a certified Paranormal Investigator. It is merely a glimpse into what it will take to investigate the Paranormal. (Enrollment limited to 15 students)
Instructor Preston Galera is President, and Lead Investigator for the Hawaiian Island Paranormal Research Society (dba Hawaiian Island Ghost Hunters) a Non-Profit organization specializing in the field of haunting investigations. Preston has been researching entities, the mechanics behind a haunting, and claimed haunted locations for the past 10 years. After experiencing activity at his own residence, he and his Brother-in-law decided to form "Hawaiian Island Ghost Hunters." Preston has appeared in "the Honolulu Advertiser" and "Honolulu Magazine's" October edition titled "Haunted Hawaii."
